Professor DVR Sheshadri, with a distinguished career spanning corporate leadership and faculty positions at renowned IIMs, now serves as a clinical professor at ISB and consults for top companies. Amidst these endeavours, he also dedicated time to the study of Vedanta during his golden years. Deeply drawn to its philosophy and being a great devotee of the Sringeri Jagadgurus, he sought a peaceful retirement near their abode at Sringeri. However, the Sringeri Jagadgurus had a different plan for him.

Instead of a quiet life he desired, Exactly an year back, They entrusted Professor Sheshadri with a monumental task: transforming the VVGM Patashala into a renowned centre for Vedic studies. Imagine the shift!

After four decades of tireless work, Professor Sheshadri envisioned a tranquil retirement. Yet, his unwavering devotion (guru bhakti) shone through. He saw the Guru's orders as a blessing for his current and future lives and dived headfirst into fulfilling the Mahaswamiji's vision.
