Sri Bhagavatpada’s profound words from Devi Aparadha Kshamapana Stotram assure us that our unwavering faith is a sanctuary of solace, offering all peace amidst life’s storms.
O Mother, I know neither Your mantras nor yantras, nor do I understand the art of offering praise. I am unaware of how to invoke You through Dhyana, or how to sing hymns in Your honor. I do not know Your sacred gestures, postures, or even how to cry out for You. Yet, one thing I know for certain: following You, even with all my imperfections, will bring relief from all suffering.
न मन्त्रं नो यन्त्रं तदपि च न जाने स्तुतिमहो
न चाह्वानं ध्यानं तदपि च न जाने स्तुतिकथाः।
न जाने मुद्रास्ते तदपि च न जाने विलपनं
परं जाने मातस्त्वदनुसरणं क्लेशहरणम् ॥
