Propaganda that women are looked down upon in Sanatana Dharma

Some people say that in #SanatanaDharma women are looked down upon & suppressed. This is baseless & mere propaganda. There are innumerable references from our Shastras which urge us to look up to all women as a form of Devi herself. Our Dharma is based on the highest ideals of equality & oneness. In spite of these dictates if someone looks down upon women then that ‘dosha’ rests with the person & not with our Shastras. What more evidence is needed than the fact that a woman Ubhaya Bharati was the arbiter when two intellectual giants #Jagadguru Adi #Shankara #Bhagavatpada & Mandana Mishra engaged in the famed debate?
